I am weird

I totally have OCD. I can not let my stamps get out of place. They are categorized by size of the box, then the name. I had to move around some stuff because I got new stamps and had to move some other stuff off of this shelf because I could not put the small boxes on top of the larger boxes.

I can not let fabric get pilly. I must take my fabric shaver to it and get them all of. I spent 30 minutes on Zoes mattress pad. I also do this to the couch. I love our couch but it is very high maintenance.

Some days I have to go through our pantry and organize the food and cans. Label out, all in a nice row, veggies on the bottom, fruits and canned meals and soups on the next, snacks on third, and going from the other direction, cold cereal then noodles, then boxed meals and mixes. They all have to be in a nice straight line, none out of their place.

We have three large drawers in our bathroom. The top one is for hair things only. The second one is usually only for diapers and wipes, but a couple of Kleenex boxes snuck in there. The bottom drawer has toilet paper and other various toiletries. The toilet paper MUST be in a straight line even if there is extra room in there. I like to keep it full, because then it has no choice but to be in a straight line.

My desktop icons, the very few that I actually do have on there, must be all lined up and in order by name.

My new desk must be cleaned off all the time. I wipe the top of it down at least once a day, sometimes more then four times. Depends on how many hand prints my kids and I get on it.

The Propel in our fridge must be lined up perfectly, but only if there is a case or two in there. Other wise they just get thrown in any old way.

My pillows go in the same spot every night on the bed. One way for when I am playing my game boy, another for when I am sleeping.

I dust once a week, sometimes two times even though the house is a complete disaster.

I hate fingerprints on the coffee table and end table, and on the windows. Do not touch the windows! Do not draw in your spit on the windows (Zoe)!

I have a folder in My Documents called LISTS. There are several lists in there.

Stress

I am so stressed out right now, I think I have caused myself to be sick. I have a massive headache that will not go away. Every little noise makes my head pound. I took some motrin, and some aleve, and its still here.

I know what is causing my stress, and yet I dont have any control over it.

Monday

Days are completly different when Caitlin is in school. Zoe doesnt say much, she plays by herself, reads books, all kinds of things. She doesnt yell at me. She is just as demanding as Caitlin, but completly different.

Here is a super cute photo I took of Zoe this afternoon when she was flipping through this Disney book.

Just minutes after I took this picture, Zoe demanded I take out her pony tails.

WOW to zero in one day

Today was extremely boring.

Except my kids. Im soo happy there is school tomorrow!

Zoe screamed, cryed, and whined all morning.

Then in the after noon...

"MOM Zoe pulled my hair"
"Mommm Zoe hit me"
"Mommm Zoe threw something at me"
"MOmmm Zoe took a cup in here and dumped on the floor"
"MOMMMMM Zoe took away my toy"
"MOmmmmmmmm Zoe did this"
"Mom Zoe did that"

UGHhhh LOL

They went to bed early. VERY early.

Mmm Peace!

WOW Lots of stuff going on…

… Jodi went back into the hospital last night for seizures and was transported to Marshfield this morning, so Ron and Carol are headed down there today to be with her, she has tests on Monday & Tuesday

… I talked to my Grandma Lill and she is moving into an assisted living apartment complex. She is 86 and I guess she is going down hill. Grandma spent a couple of weeks in the hospital this month.

… My dads phone is disconnected. I tried to call him about Caitlin’s birthday party!

… My aunt from Colorado is coming tomorrow to help get Grandmas stuff organized and weeded out since she will have less space in her new apartment. I think she will be here to help move and stuff also.

… Last night after I fell asleep, Zoe came into my room and woke me up. I guess she learned how to climb out of her crib! Great! NOTHING is safe from Zoe now! Id put up a baby gate, but that doesn’t do much good when Caitlin just takes it down when she wants to go where ever. We never had to deal with Caitlin crawling out of her crib since she was in a toddler bed at nine months old. She was walking and talking and would get her arms and legs stuck in the bars, so it was good for her then.

… I have clean dishes. I have no dirty dishes! This is amazing! I always have dirty dishes, but now I have none.

… I went through a bunch of stuff in our storage room. I moved the dresser back into my room so I have room to actually move in there when I am sorting through stuff!

… I took out the trash on my own; TWICE. All by myself! I still have desk parts that need to go to the trash, but give it time.

… I left the house today. I had to meet someone in Trego to give the rollerblades. She contacted me through freecycle. I like freecycle even though some people are weird. They ask for lots of stuff. Greedy people I tell ya! Also, I thought that the group I was in was for people in OUR area. The lady who wants the other rollerblades lives in Eau Claire. That’s almost two hours away from here. She would meet me in Rice Lake, but sheesh, that’s too far to drive to GIVE someone a pair of rollerblades!

… My children are pushing my buttons today. They keep getting into the pantry and bringing food in their room. The bad part is, I am sitting right here and I can see when they come and go from the kitchen but I have not seen them take any food! Sneaky little squirrels! Zoe has also started to dump her milk by squeezing the lid on the sippy cup.

Day 11 & 12

I would have posted this YESTERDAY, but blogger was down.

Day 11

Today went rather well. Ok well the MORNING went rather well. I took Caitlin to school and Zoe and I came home. I put Zoe down for a nap and was about to get into the shower when the phone rang. “Christy, this is Pastor Tony. Jodi just collapsed on the floor”. Ok so I go wake Zoe up and zoom down the stairs, stop at the bakery for an orange juice (Jodi is diabetic) then headed to the church. It is only about five minutes away, but that seemed like for ever. When I got there Jodi was on the floor, awake but not really with it. Soon after I got there, she started seizing. I told them to call the ambulance. The ambulance took FOREVER to get there. She seized the entire time. Once they got there, she sort of came out of it, but was really dazed (as she is when she has had a seizure.). They took her to the hospital; I had to go meet them there. I went to the bakery and said I need a sitter NOW, any one got any ideas? LOL of course! They all wanted Zoe. So that was out of the way. I went to the hospital where Jodi was already in a bed. Shortly after me getting there, she started to siueze again. They had already given her an IV for some fluids, so they pushed some valium. They called her main clinic, and the neurologist was not available to talk to the ER doctor. So he called up to another bigger hospital for a second opinion type thing. After 45 minutes, she finally stopped seizing. It was kind of weird because shortly after Pastor Tony had arrived is when it stopped.

Finally she got released after an hour of no seizures, so we went and picked up Caitlin from preschool (I knew I was going to be late so I called and had her put in after school day care) then went and got Mc Donald’s.

We were home, we ate dinner, and everything was fine. I tried to get a hold of R&C because they landed at the airport at 2:30pm. I could not get a hold of them so I called Carols sister to find out what hotel they were at. She did not know, and told me to call Carols son, John. He did not remember the name of the hotel either. LOL great.

After dinner, Jodi said she was going to go get her blanket and pillow and rest in the chair. Just as she got her stuff on the chair, she flopped out of her chair onto the floor. She was not conscious when I went over to see if she was okay. Soon after, she came to. I called Carols sister back and told her what had happened again. A few minutes after I called her, she called back and said her and John were going to come admit Jodi into the hospital just to be on the safe side.

So here I am with no Jodi to sit and an empty house. I went home for the night. BLEH!

Day 12

R&C got home this afternoon around 12:30. They would have been back sooner, but when they went to go leave, the van would not start! The battery was dead! They had to get a jump start. I kept tring to call their cell phones. Carol put hers in her suit case, then she could not find it when they went to leave London. She found it finally an hour after being home. I asked Ron where HIS cell phone was, he said in his truck! LOL

I am home now. Its really weird. Tony is not in bed sleeping, or getting ready for work. The house just has a strange feling like something is missing. Good thing I know what is missing, my husband! Wow do I miss him! I really hate being up here in Wisconsin and him being in Iowa, but it is something that needs to be done. The fact that we are so far away might be good for us. It will give us a new found apreciation for each other! Everyone can use a little wake up call once in a while!

I can not wait to move to Iowa. I am so excited. I can not wait to be around Tony again. I cant wait until we get there. MIL & FIL will have so much fun with the girls! I can not wait to move, but I am dreading the actual "moving of the stuff" part.

OK.. Im done!

Day 10

Day 10

Wednesday was okay I guess. I took Caitlin to school, and then went home with Zoe while Tony packed for his move to Iowa. I am going to miss him. Even though he doesn’t help out around the house much and I end up picking up after him, he still does take out the trash, cooks once in a while, and spends time with me. I will miss his company the most.

When I was at home trying to get everything clean and stuff done, Jodi called. “I’m really dizzy, help me” Um ok... your dizzy what do you want ME to do about it? I told her to go lay down IN HER BED. That way if she does pass out, she won’t fall on the floor. Well I guess one of the ladies downstairs ended up calling to see how she was doing, and Jodi said “Not good, I am really dizzy and can not get dressed.” She did NOT tell ME that she could not get dressed. I would have run over there and helped her if she had told me. But she didn’t.

So after asking her several questions later in the day, she told me her dr gave her vicodin for her shoulder. Then after many more questions, she told me it was for her knee. Later she told me that it was for her back. I asked her if she took it everyday. She answered with “Well it says as needed” I asked her again if she took it every day. She finally said yes. WTF? She takes it EVERY DAY? I asked for how long… Since she was in the mental ward last year. OMG. You mean to tell me she’s been taking it EVERYDAY since October/ November?? Geez

Wednesday, March 15, 2006

Day 9

Tuesday was weird again. We went home to spend some time together as a family and for me to get some more house work done. I get a call right away in the morning. "My laundry hamper is too heavy. I cant move it, I need some help". Okay... Take half of the laundry out, haul it to the laundry room, then go back for the other half. "Well... um... hmm... its heavy." Okay.. I tell her she is an adult, she can handle that. Few hours later, I get another phone call. "i am dizzy.. very dizzy" ...Well what do you want me to do? She checked her blood sugar, and it was fine, so it was not that. Seriously. What else could I do? I told her to go lay down for a nap.

We travel back to R&C's house in the early afternoon. Jodi was still taking a nap. That did not suprise me much considering she slept all day on Sunday and Monday.

Before dinner, I went to go take a nap. Just as I fall asleep, I hear Tony calling for me. I kept saying What? Whats wrong? as I was walking up the steps. No one answered as to what was wrong. Well I guess, according to Jodi, she passed out and fell to the floor. According to Tony, she FLOPPED out of her chair (last i knew, you go limp when you pass out, so FLOPPING out of the chair is just ... well... weird) onto the floor. So much for my nap. Yes. I know that was a bit selfish of me to think about my nap, but when someone says the "passed out" and someone who I trust the truth from, tells me she "flopped out of her chair onto the floor"... Hmm ... Well I guess when Tony was on the floor saying her name, he grabed her hand, she grabed his, then let go all of a sudden like OMG Im busted, or some shit.

I just have a really hard time beliving what she says. She tends to lie to get her way. I know most of the reason she called about the laundry and then later about being dizzy was her tring to get us back there. Then when we did get back, she went on and on about how she misses her mom and Ron. So that kind of confirmed what i thought.

Again, I am going to say this. I do NOT have to be there 24 hours a day to "babysit" her. Her mom even lets her be home alone for many hours at a time. R&C told me and her that I do not have to sit there with her all day.

Monday, March 13, 2006

Day 8

Today was weird. It snowed a lot... about 8 inches or so. Not like thats a big deal because we DO live in Wisconsin. School was delayed two hours even though all the schools around here were closed. The owner of the preschool called around 7ish this morning to tell me preschool was closed, good thing too because I would have taken Caitlin to school. Last time we got a bunch of snow, I called to see if there still was preschool, she told me yes, as long as the schools have regular school, there will be preschool. I wasnt sure about the delay, so I was just going to take Caitlin in at 10. Good thing she called.

Jodi turns weird when ever my husband is around. Im not sure why, but it just happens. She did her normal blurbing out stuff that no one needs to know, then felt the need to make up for it for the rest of the day. After making Tony feel like shit, I chewed her out. I did not yell, I just was very firm in what I said. When I was finished, I told her at least three times NOT to applogize to Tony because it would just upset him more.

I love my husband so much. I wish R&C would realize just how much I really do love him. I can honestly say I truely am still IN love with him. He does so much for the girls and I. I try to thank him for what he does for us, but I do not as often as I should. He is my rock. Why dont they see this?? I wish I could just tell them to lay off. I am not sure how they would react if I did say something, but I really wish I had the guts to say anything. Maybe after we make our complete move, then I will be able to say something since we wont be living under their "roof". It is down right exhausting being caught in the middle. I love them too. They have done so much for me before I met and married Tony. They continue to help now and then. I will never be able to repay them for all they have done for me and my family. I guess thats why it is so hard to say ... anything.

I really can not wait to get home. I miss our little home. Even though it is an apartment, it is our home. Any where we end up, as long as we are together, will be our home. Yes I know what I just said about us being together is what makes it a home, but I feel so out of place here. Its not OURS, if you know what I mean. Its not our bed we are sleeping in, its not our couch we are sitting on, its not our TV that we are watching, we do not have the same closeness here as we do at home. I feel like we have to tip toe all around here. I am in the "red" room right now. I was told not to come in here. Why I am not sure. But here I am, because this is where the internet connection is. Why can we not be in this room? I dunno. whatever.

I can not wait to have a conversation with my husband when there are no nosy ears listening to every little word we whisper. Jodi is so nosy about everything. I cant even go outside at night with out hearing "Oh I heard you go outside last night at *insert time here*" ... SO WHAT! I went out side. big freakin deal. Stop watching the clock! Grrr

We dont have a TV in our bedroom at home. All the tv watching we do is in our living room. The girls have a TV in their room. So Tony and I were taking advantage of having a bedroom with a TV when we hear this strange noise. Then we see Jodis head peek around the corner of the door. She brought me my laundry. She folded my laundry. As if it were another guesture to "applogize" for her earlier behavior. I felt like MY space was invaded. She never comes down stairs, partly because she is in a friggen wheelchair... AND there is nothing down here that she needs to get at. Why is she so damn nosy?? UGh...

Day 7

Unevenful. Sort of. More later.

Saturday, March 11, 2006

Day 6

Day 6

Today I was reminded as to why I am here. Jodi told me when I got up this morning that she had an insulin reaction in the middle of the night. She tried calling down the steps for me but I am a heavy sleeper and did not hear her.

After her night of running high and low, she was extremely tired. She was resting on the couch when she had a seizure. Yet another reminder as to why I am here.

Day 5

Day 5

Today was slow; other then being woke up with some weird news at 1:00 am. Not that I mind, Id rather hear it at 1am then never.

I was in such a horrible mood when I woke up this morning. I knew why, the news Tony delivered to me in the wee hours of the morning. I just had to get out of this house to blow off some steam. So I packed up the kids and we went home for a few hours. I can’t say that I got much done, but the girls pulled out the baby doll stuff that I had put away since they never play with it. I took a nap, so I didn’t know they took the stuff out to play until I had woke up. I wasn’t even mad, only because they had not woke me up to ask me to get it out for them. I went to the bank then headed back over to R&C’s house.

Didn’t do much in the afternoon, took another nap while Zoe napped, then got up and finished up some laundry. I made dinner, and then watched the girls play, then it was the long horrible task of getting the girls to pick up the toys. Zoe did not want to sleep. Instead she threw a ginormous fit and would not calm down. Finally I let Caitlin out and let her go watch some more cartoons until I knew for sure Zoe was out.

After everyone was in bed, I watched a movie; it was called “Happy Endings”. It was an okay movie, glad I rented it through netflix instead of buying it. It mad me laugh, it made me cry. I tend to like movies that do that. Even though I am crying because of what is going on in the movie, it still feels good to just cry once in a while, just to let it all out.

Shortly after I woke up from my nap, Kim called about the house we have wanted to see down in Mason City, Iowa. I love the layout, the amount of space, and the fact that there really is not any “wasted space”. I hate wasted space in houses. It sounds like overall it is an okay house, but it has a very old furnace and a cistern which takes up almost half of the basement (yes wasted space, but we dont need much of a basement). I had to google cistern. I had originally thought it would be something like coal storage or something, but I guess I was wrong. Thank you Google! Also I guess the neighborhood is not the greatest, but I am sure it’s not the worst. My children will never be outside unattended. I am far too paranoid to let them go out alone. So THAT won’t be an issue. Guess we will have to do some more digging around about the neighborhood. I also want to know why the house was aparaised at $42,000 and the asking price is $49,900. I love the fact that this is a four bedroom, with one bedroom on the main floor. Awesome awesome awesome. Can you say craft room, play room?? WoOt!

***7 more days.

Stress level: Elevated (orange)

Last night Tony came home and woke me up and said “Would you like the bad news or the worse news first?”

I hate hearing those words; so many things run through my head when those words have been spoken. All I could think of was Tony’s car was in a ditch, he hit another deer, or he was in a car wreck.

Back at Ground Zero

I feel like everything we have worked at in the last few months was destroyed in an instant. I don’t know how we are going to pick up the pieces this time. We did pay a lot of stuff off with our tax returns, but we still have weekly bills.

I am not sure how we are going to get through this; I am not even sure if Tony will get paid for this weekend due to the circumstances involved. He usually gets paid every week on Saturday. This will hurt us immensely. I am not sure we can recover from another blow right now.

So much for my life becoming less stressful.

Thursday, March 09, 2006

Day 4

Day 4

I feel like I’m a cast away writing in the sand about my daily journey through the traitorous island. As I awoke from my night of sleep, I went to go hunt for food. Ok not really. I am not sure if it’s because we decided to move, or the fact that I can actually fall asleep at night before my pills kick in due to the Heart Charka cd that I came across, or the charka bracelet that I recently purchased, but I feel like I am in almost perfect harmony.

Today was not an unpleasant day at all. It went by rather smooth. I got up, the girls got up, and we had breakfast (even though Miss Caitlin eats at school), got dressed and headed out the door. I dropped Caitlin off at school, and Zoe and I went to the apartment for a bit. While Zoe was watching cartoons, I went and said a quick hello to Tony. I rubbed his back for a bit, and then shook him to try to wake him up; he opened his eyes for a brief moment, and then quickly dozed back off to sleep. I kissed him on the forehead and left him alone.

When I went back into the living room of our apartment, I realized that half of my stamping and scrap booking stuff was at R&C’s house, and so was my computer. So I bundled up Zoe and we headed back to R&C’s.

Tony came by to visit and say hi before he left for work. I went and picked up Jodi, then Caitlin, then stopped by the bank and post office. I also had to pick up my prescriptions from the pharmacy. When we got home, I decided I did not feel like cooking, so I allowed Ronald Mc Donald to do the cooking for us. On the way to Mc Donald’s, I stopped by the house to get some stamp sets and ink.

The rest of the evening went fine. Caitlin, as usual, did not want to pick up the toys. After me repeatedly telling her she had to or I was going to throw them away, she finally did.

The end.

8 more days!

Day 3

Day 3

Day three was interesting. I dropped Caitlin off at school, and then Zoe and I went home. Tony was sleeping, and so Zoe and I took a nap. The phone rang; it was Jodi. She said that she was going to go to the store for some stuff; shower shine, cat treats, Clorox wipes, and the taco mix thing that Ron didn’t pick up. I told her do NOT go to the store, I had been told by R&C not to let her go to the store.

Zoe and I went to Wal-Mart after being awoken from our wonderful slumber. I decided to pick up some Clorox wipes in case I could not find any at R&Cs house. I also got Jodi the kitty treats that she wanted so bad.

When I first got to Wal-Mart, I noticed the bus that takes Jodi everywhere. I almost went up to the driver to see if he was there waiting for Jodi, but I didn’t. I quickly walked around the entire store to make sure Jodi was not there. I didn’t see her, so I did my shopping and left.

When we got home, I waited a bit before I woke up Tony. I am really glad that we got to visit a bit. I really missed him when he was out of town, and then now working.

I made a soft taco bake (kit) for dinner. As always, it was very yummy. I gave the kids a bath put them to bed then went and laid in bed to watch some TV. I ended up falling asleep sometime after 8:00 pm and before 11:00pm. Caitlin came in at 11:00 and woke me up for something to drink. Unfortunately, I fell asleep before I took my pills so I took them late, and now Ill be tired all day Thursday.

Everything else is good I guess

Tuesday, March 07, 2006

Day 2

Day 2

Today was yet another uneventful day. I like it this way. Of course there was one incident that kind of ruffled my feathers a bit. I was talking to my aunt Carolyn on the phone for a while. Soon my cell phone rang. I have our home phone forwarded to my cell phone while we are house sitting. I look at the phone, it says “Jodi”. I didn’t make it in time to answer it. I decided it was time to get off the phone with my aunt so I could see what Jodi was up to. Then my cell phone rang again. Guess who. I again missed the call and the phone stopped ringing. So I tried to call Jodi back; straight to voice mail. Okay so I tried another couple of times; again, straight to voice mail. I figured the only way her phone would do this is if she was either calling someone else, or had her phone off. Well knowing Jodi, she was calling everyone in her phone book to tell them she could not find me. Finally after 20 minutes of trying to get thru on her phone, she answered. I asked her “Who did you call after you called me twice?” she replied with “No one”. I told her that if she had not called anyone, her phone would not have sent me to voice mail. Again, she said no one. After asking three more times, she finally said she called the bakery and called R&C’s house to see if I was back there. So she DID call someone. UGH!

I went home and did some more cleaning today. The house should be SPOTLESS by the time we are ready to go home. It will be wonderful. Normally I do a bunch of cleaning in one day, then get so wore out that I don’t clean for a week. By then the place is completely trashed because none of us (including myself) know how to pick up after our selves.

I changed the cat litter, washed some dishes, swept the kitchen floor, vacuumed in the girl’s room, washed more of our bedding, dusted, and cleaned the TV and windows. I can’t wait to go over there again and do a bit more. By the time we get home, I want to start a major de clutter job so we have less to move. No matter what I get rid of, we still will have a lot to move, but less would be better. Besides, no use of moving the stuff we don’t need or want all the way to a different state.

I made spaghetti for dinner. It turned out rather yummy. Of course Zoe and Caitlin did not agree. They played with the food on their plates for a while before I got frustrated and took them away.

*** Ten days left.

Monday, March 06, 2006

Day 1

Day 1

Today is off to an okay start for house sitting and Jodi sitting. Nothing too exciting has happened. Ron and Carol dropped Caitlin off at school on their way out of town. I went home to do some cleaning, laundry and to visit the cats for a while this morning. Then to the post office, later Zoe and I brought Mc Donalds back to R&Cs house. I am rather mad at Mc Donalds though. The toy that was on the drive thru board was NOT the same toy they gave me. It was a cute puppy thing, but the awful toy we got was some weird looking guy jumping rope. I went and got my computer today around 2 then to pick up Caitlin from school. Good thing, because I am bored out of my mind.

Tony is still down in Iowa job hunting. I wish him luck. I really miss him being around and I hope he comes back to me soon or even at all. I hope he finds a great job. I can not wait to get out of this town and away from my many “babysitters”.

Hopefully tomorrow will be just as exciting. Unless my husband comes home to me, then I will be very excited!

Tomorrow night is open scrapbook night. I am not going because that is MY time and I am not going to lug my children there with me. Besides, even if I do take them with, I will not get anything done! Not like that is anything new from other nights I go but still.

On a side note, its amazing how much stuff myself and the children will need for only 12 days. Clothes, toys, bath stuff, shower stuff, stuff stuff.

Saturday, March 04, 2006

Oh Joy!

Oh great. It’s Saturday night. That means, tomorrow I must lug the children and 12 days worth of stuff over to my aunt and uncles to house and Jodi sit. I’m very excited. No. Really, I am. (Not) I can not wait until the 17th when I can lug the children and our 12 days worth of stuff back home. Is it the 17th yet? Please say yes.

What am I going to do for 12 days away from home? I don’t know. I am thinking of lugging my computer over there so I have SOMETHING to do. I guess I could bring my stamping/scrapbooking stuff, but I have a feeling I won’t be in the mood to actually stamp or scrapbook over there.

At least Tony gets to go to Mason City, Iowa to job hunt. He will only be gone Sunday Monday and Tuesday, and then be at work Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday, and I bet he finds a way to run away again the next week. I totally don’t blame him. But if I have to put up with Jodi, he should too, dammit! Okay, maybe not, but still. he he

I am so thrilled about going over there tomorrow; I haven’t even started packing yet. Some of that has to do with the laundry I still have to do, mostly not though.

Can I possibly bitch anymore? I am sure that I can. I’m really good at it too!

“Oh did you cut your hair?” “Um no… not in months actually”

“Oh I miss you guys so much” “great whatcha going to do when we move to IOWA!”

“Oh look at me look at me!” ugh.

/rant

yes. I put some really offensive yellow in there, just to annoy you as much as I will be in the next few days.

fun!

Yesterday I went to St. Cloud to visit my friend Heather (pinefeather). The drive there was short, the way home took forevvvverr. When I got there, her kids came to me like I have been around often. It’s been a very long time since I have gone to see them. Our schedules just never matched up, and if they did, it would snow, or something silly like that.

Tacy went to school around 12:45, and then Heather, Hana and I went to lunch and shopping. While we were at McDonalds, Hana decided that she really likes me. She crawled almost on my lap and cuddled with me. In her sweet little voice she said “Christy, I love you!” Hehe so much fun.

Heather had a meeting for work at 5, and Hana was still napping when we left. I guess she asked where mommy was, then where Christy was.

We went to Crafts Direct after lunch. Man I love that place, it’s so big and they have everything.

We really need to get together more often. We have a lot of fun when we do get together!

The Nap

I have not taken a nap during the day for about a week now, but I was tired, so I figured Id sneak one in today. I kept tossing and turning and it felt like I couldn’t sleep. I woke up and had to use the bathroom and the clock said 1:30pm! It was 11:00 when I got in bed! Ooops!

When I was in the bathroom, I noticed that there was RED and BLUE all over our fairly new hand towel. I called Caitlin, and asked “What happened to the towel?” Caitlin replied “I don’t know.” I asked her what she had been doing and she said “Painting”. Oh great. If only you could see the things that ran through my head at that moment. I expected to have red and blue paint all through the house. Nope. There was paint on the paper that she got out, and paint on the hand towel. That’s it. Not a drop anywhere else or at least that I haven’t seen yet.

“Caitlin, why did you take out the paints?” Caitlin said “Because I could not find the play dough.” LOL ok then! After I sat down at my desk, Caitlin said “Well I did not get paint on Kie kie! She was waiting on the couch for me to be done painting”. Oh well that’s good. Don’t worry about the vanilla colored hand towel that is blue and red now. Hehe

We really do have great kids. She was only trying entertain herself while mommy, daddy, and Zoe were sleeping! She really did not make that big of a mess, and its only a towel.

Race

Today was the actual Birkie race. It was really exciting, but the best thing to me was at 6pm people were still going up main street toward the finish line. If the kids were either feeling better, or were sleeping, I would love to go cheer those people on. They did not give up. The kept going as long as they could. I would not be able to do a 51k race and finish!

Echo

There is an echo in our home...

Caitlin “Mom what are you doing?” Zoe “Mom what are you doing?” Caitlin “Sorry mom” Zoe “Sorry mom” Caitlin “I’m hungry” Zoe “I’m hungry” Caitlin “Why?” Zoe “Why?”

hehe

Hmmm

Ok.

This time of year...

Well its that time of the year when they put all the snow on the
street. Yes, I said PUT SNOW ON THE STREET! Its for the giant ski race
(The American Birkebeiner) that
our city holds every year in February. I think the greatest part about
this is when they put the snow down. Others will say its the race that
they like the best. I do not like the fact that our town will be over
run by tourists that think they own the place. Its extremely hard to
drive, shop, or do any daily tasks with all this commotion going on. I
cant wait to get it over because my second favorite part of this time
is when they pick the snow back up! lol

*pout*

*sigh* This morning Caitlin told me “I don’t like you any more mom!” because I took away the markers that she was playing with instead of coloring with. This is the first time I have heard this, I’m sure it won’t be the last, but man does it burn!

Plans...

Man… This is why I like to do stuff spontaneously! I made plans to go visit our friend Kat who had a baby six weeks early. Her baby Alexander is still in the hospital at the U of M.

Well Caitlin never got over her ear infection from two weeks ago. I took her back to the doctor yesterday; one ear is still a bit red, and the other has clear fluid in it. The doc gave us different antibiotics. Caitlin also has a horrible cough. I asked if there was anything I could give her for it, and she said a decongestant. Well I figured I would wait to see how Caitlin was doing this morning before we left. This morning, Caitlin is still coughing, complaining about her ear, has a low grade fever, and is extremely cranky.

So… We are going to stay home. I do NOT want to take Caitlin into the NICU with all the small babies, some who are fighting for their life. Those little babies do not need to be exposed to my coughing child. Even though she can not go into the room with the babies, the fact that she would even be in the building concerns me.

I hate when my plans fail.

Buttons

I know by other peoples standards my kids are angels but HOLY CRAP they are pushing my buttons today. Caitlin and Zoe decided it would be “fun” to play with the toilet paper in their room. Well this is my fault since the pack of tp was on the floor for a couple days and not where it belongs. But come on… Since when is toilet paper a toy?

Caitlin keeps making Zoe cry. I’m not sure how, because she only seems to do it when they are in their room. They are supposed to be picking up their toys but are not. I shut the television off after the toilet paper incident and now every few minuets Caitlin comes out and complains “My TV is off so I am out here because I am sad.” Okay… I tell her that I do not think she should watch TV since she is supposed to be picking up. Then she gives me these puppy dog eyes that are not working on me today.

This morning at breakfast, Caitlin wanted a banana, so I gave each of the girls one. Caitlin was playing with hers so I told her to stop. She said “But mom, we are eating bananas, so we are monkeys!” I told her that if she dropped her banana on the floor, momma was going to be MAD. Sure enough, a few minuets passed and she dropped half of her banana on the floor. Instead of eating the other half that was still on the table, she just whined about the one that was on the floor.

I asked Caitlin and Zoe to pick up all the toys in the living room and put them where they belong in their room. I had to ask twice before it was done.

We store some of the girl’s toys that are no longer played with in our tiny bedroom. This room as become some what of a storage room. I had to use the bathroom and when I was back there, I heard some noise coming from the room. Odd because they are not allowed in there, but there they were playing on the floor with their keyboard piano. So I told them that they could take it into their room and play with it and they could NOT go into that room again. Within ten minuets, I heard the door open… grr…

Weirdest Morning EVA!!!

This morning I wake up to Zoe crying. This really is not something too new; she tends to wake up before the rest of us. Well this morning, I went to get her out of her crib. Her bed was SOAKED, and I mean SOAKED. She some how traded her diaper for a pair of undies sometime after I put her to bed. I found her diaper outside of her crib, dry. How did she get the undies?? I asked Caitlin, who has been telling little white lies lately, if she had given them to Zoe. Her answer was “No.”. Okay... So I guess Zoe climbed out of her crib in the night and opened Caitlin’s dresser drawer, pulled out the undies, climbed back in her crib, took off her diaper, and put the undies on. Hmm…

Today

Well I did not do much today, probably not even enough to blog about, but ya. I did some dishes...Two "drying racks" full and cleaned the kitchen. Not that you can tell, cuz the trash is overflowing...Yukcypoo.

When I got up this morning, I got followed for about an hour by Tico. That was weird. Normally he doesnt really want much to do with us. I thought maybe he had no food or water, but he did...so I dunno! I guess he just wanted some attention.

I still did not put this mountain of clean laundry away. I should do that before it gets mixed up in the dirty laundry! I hate that when that happens...

I made some cards today.. That was fun. I took some of the stamped images I had laying around (ok well in a bin) and just created stuff with them.

Hmm what else did I do today... I took Caitlin to school...picked her up from school... Helped her clean her and Zoes room...Gave them a bath... Oh ya and fed them a few times.

I watched "LOST" tonight, it was OKAY. I dunno.. I am kind of bored with it, but I still watch it cuz I want to know WTF is going on. That and there is nothing else thats on at that time... Well Im sure there is, but nothing else that I want to watch

I need to get rid of this POS mouse and hook up my new one, but just have not gotten around to doing so. This one pisses me off... The pointer just jumps around randomly at times... Gets annoying and frustrating when it lands on something like "log out" and I click it cuz I thought I was still on something else that I actually WANTED to click on...

I feel kinda lazy lately. I am really stressed about some news that I received the other day. I cant really say much about it cuz its not set into stone yet.

Only 19 more days until I have to go house sit and Jodi sit. Weee. Im so excited. Can you feel the excitement flowing out of me?? Dont get me wrong, I totally do not mind doing a favor for my aunt and uncle. But Jodi is hard to take sometimes, and with as stressed as I have been feeling, putting up with her might just push me over the edge... I know... think of the money Ill be paid to Jodi sit. That should make it easier, but it doesnt. I just hope she doesnt have any incidents while I am there. In the last couple of months, she has had one (maybe two) seizures and she blacked out once (that COULD have been another seizure). The last time we house sat, she was quite the handful. I dont remember the details, but I know she pissed me off more then once.

Ok I guess I had stuff to blog about after all... Not that any of that was intresting though...

-Relax and enjoy life

Hmm Ok so I can say that the third one was easy to do. I am tring to maintain a schedule, right now my sleep schedule could use some improvement though.

Ok... Thats it.

Today

Wow time flies. Tomorrow is already Valentines Day. Seems like it just turned 2006! We got hubby a new video card and I got to order some stamps for our gifts. We are really easy to buy for when it comes to everything but flowers and jewelry. I like jewelry, just have never found anything I like to wear on a regular basis. When we got married we got the cheapest wedding bands we could find. This year we will be married for six years. We always talked about getting new wedding bands; maybe we will plan on this for our tenth anniversary.

I am working on some altered tins today. I love altering things. It’s so much fun. I have altered other tins and books. I hope to work on some scrap booking or stamping this evening too.

I am so happy that very few of our shows were not interrupted by the Olympics. I usually get unhappy around this time because TV tends to suck. Tonight is 24 night!!

Saturday

Hmm gonna try saving money this year... I hope it works out.. lol cuz I am bad, I like to spend spend spend. And of course, this change happens after I just spent money on a new barebones computer, a new desk, and bunk beds for the kids.

I have been working on some scrapbooks lately, I plan on doing one of each of us. I am currently working on Caitlins. Its going along smoothly! I can't wait to get it finished and work on Zoes! I think mine and Tonys will be the hardest to complete! hehe

Kazoo

We went to the Lake Superior Zoo yesterday. It was a bit chilly, but nice. We saw Llamas, a few different kinds of bats, and monkeys, & snakes. They had two different nacturnal exhibts; one was a a "Northern Territory" and the other one was "Austrailian". The Austrailian exhibit had a very distinct smell and the zoo posted a sign stating that even though it smells, the cages were cleaned on a daily basis and the animals probably think we smell too. LOL

Sunday was an awesome family day. I can not wait to go to the zoo again, maybe when its a little warmer... and we have more time. Caitln and Zoe had a wonderful time. Tony and I learned about a lot of things that Caitlin knew and we did not know she knew....lol

Saturday

Well Saturday made its way through the week, and here we are. Tomorrow is Super Bowl Sunday. Not sure how much of that I want to actually watch tho. I guess it will depend on what hubby wants to do. I would love to stamp or scrapbook all day then chill at night, I am hoping my fav shows are first runs.

Ok well Saturday, blah blah boring.

Feb 3rd 2006

Oh my post titles are getting so intresting! hehe

Any who... today is Friday. Normally the IRS direct deposits their refunds on Fridays. Well its not here today. I guess we are out of luck until next Friday. SUX

I want my computer parts!

Well so far today, I have not done much around the house. I did some quick picking up last night, and the place looks OKAY. Funny how little things make such a big difference. Now I just have to get the laundry put away!

Whooohooo! It is snowing outside!! Now I wish we would get a blizzard. A good old fashion blizzard with 3 feet of snow. Like the one on Halloween several years ago. (Several several, like when I was a kid... it would have been my last year trick or treating)

We need snow soo bad for the local economny. The snowmobilers are far and few between. We had to cancel our "Winter Fest" due to no ice on the lake. They have snowmobile races on the ice. I guess pretty fun. Ive never gone.

We also need snow for our ginormous ski race that is held here every Feb....They put a ton of snow down on main street so they can continue the race to the finish line two blocks up from our apartment. Its pretty cool to watch.

Ground Hog Day

Okay so one saw his shadow and another did not. Does it really matter? Does a groundhog trumph Mother Nature? I guess he says we are up for six more mild weeks of winter. Does that go for all of the USA?

I watched The Skeleton Key last night. *I* thought it was a good movie. I started to watch Four Brothers, but I started to fall asleep so I shut it off and went to bed.

I <3 netflix.

Why is it that the phone MUST ring during climaxes of movies?? Is there a written law some where that states that you may only call someone during the creepy scene of the movie? Hmm ok I guess Ill just call that Murphys Law. Who is Murphy and why does he get a law? I guess Ill have to google that... that was very intresting.

Why must FEMA and the US Government search for someone to blame with their lack of readiness when Hurricane Katrina hit the gulf coast? Why dont they just suck it up and get over it and do something about it instead of sit around and figure out who to point the finger at. Help those people. Yes it does seem as if though some of the poorest people went thru complete devistation of their houses, some people say they are just looking for a handout. WTF?? Their houses are NO MORE! GONE! I dont think FEMA and the government are doing all that they can. Normally I dont worry much about this stuff but its on the news every day. Kinda hard to miss it.

HA! It seems "they" have been putting this new comercial thing at the begining of DVDs. They still have the usual FBI WARNING, and what not, but now they have this thing where they play some music, show video of a car and the words " you wouldnt steal a car" pop up, then they have video of a man whos about to take a womans handbag "you wouldnt steal a handbag", next they show video someone in a video store getting ready to steal a DVD "you wouldnt steal a dvd" ... Then they go on to say something about how DOWNLOADING pirated movies is illega. They say NOTHING about burning a dvd. But I guess that is covered under the FBI Warning. Weirdos.

I miss my computer...

Wednesday, February 01, 2006

...

bummed.

Still.

Still no tax refund (its only been a few days LOL)

Still no computer parts .

Saturday, January 28, 2006

hmm..

So I didnt think I would miss my computer THAT much because I dont really do much other then surf the web, chat, check my email, and edit photos. I did not take into consideration that I have an alarm program on my computer to remind me of those silly things that happen every day. Seems simple for some people to automaticaly remember to do stuff like take their pills, play groups, appointments and what not. Well it is not that easy for me. I need reminders.

Last night, I chatted online for a while, surfed the net a bit, then decieded to watch the movie "CRASH" . I thought it was a really good movie, but there was some bad acting. I dont usually say that there is bad acting unless it is very bad. Any who... the movie ended about 10:30, and my heart sank. I forgot to take my pills at 9:30pm! I take them that early so by 11, I am ready to go to bed and sleep.. if I go earlier, I toss and turn.

So thats why I need my alarm on my computer! To remind me of these silly little things! I did set my phone alarm for 9:30pm to remind me to take my pills, so we will see how that goes.

Friday, January 27, 2006

Well that sucks...

I killed my computer! We think its the mother board. So hopefully will be getting a new one sometime soon!

UNTIL THEN... ya.. ok LOL

Taxes and other pointless info

I tried to do our taxes yesterday and failed miserably. Well not really, but I feel like I did. I used turbo tax online... I could not e-file at the time because at the time turbo tax was published, the form we need was not updated by the IRS. Grrrr... I looked it up on their site, and the form is due to be ready on the 28th. I was kinda hopeing to get them in before Friday, because in the past, they have direct deposited them on Fridays. So I guess we have to wait till the 28th.

In other news. lol news, like im that important to call it "news" hehe

... Zoe is becoming quite the little copy cat. Its so cute, she follows Caitlin everywhere, and does what she does.

... I thought my cold was over but yesterday I got all stuffed up again. I am on my second box of Cold Eeze. Boy does that make ya thirsty lol its a good thing too cuz I dont feel like drinking anything, and that way I have to

... My van needs new tires . Hope to remidy that with the tax return.

... Netflix r0x!

... I completed one load of laundry.. We all will have clean socks and undies, but no clothes to put over them. NO, NO PICTURES.

... I need to do the dishes.. and more laundry .. and mop the floors.

... I forgot to take my vitamins yesterday

... I should have gone to bed at 9pm like I planed to (as of last night)

... My kids get up at 7am(or so) no matter what time I go to bed

... I need to get back on my diet

... I need to go to bed

... You are really still reading this?

... I am done now

Transitions

It’s an amazing transition that takes place with an infant. They come into your life, demand every second of you mentally and physically. You must do everything for them; they are only able to cry, poop, pee, and sleep. Then they grow, they become more mobile. They start to roll, crawl, even talk. They begin to need you less except for your approval for some things they do. They begin to take shape as a toddler. They start to talk, know more of what they want and what they want to do. Zoe is in this constant transition. She is growing up to be a little girl. Caitlin is growing up into a little lady. Some of the things she does need some improvement to be a proper lady, but she is so cute when she dresses up or sings songs at the top of her lungs.

The downward spiral of my life..or at least my mind

I totally suck at being a human… To the point that I should not even be one. I can’t pay bills on time, I forget about parking tickets, and parking tickets are evil in this town. If you don’t pay them in 15 days, they almost double. If you don’t pay THAT in 15 days, they send it to the state and it makes your vehicle “unregistered”. WTF it’s a damn parking ticket. I got called and bitched out at 7:30 am this morning about a parking ticket. A PARKING TICKET. Not ten, not twenty, but ONE. ONE PARKING TICKET. For parking in front of our building.

I am worthless. I don’t think I could hold a job if my life depended on it. I just can not handle working. I don’t know why. I cant handle keeping the house clean either. I just get behind, and that causes me to get behind EVERYWHERE, then we live in chaos. I can provide the basic things for my children, barely, but I do. I cant really say the same for myself.

I don’t think my meds are working. I just had them raised last month. I live in a constant state of a low grade depression. It sucks.

Friday, January 20, 2006

um ok...

So i just posted about me not being able to post yesterday, and when i posted that, it some how posted my OTHER thing that i tried to post... See told you.. FLAKEY!

Hmm

So I tried to post a few times to my blog yesterday, but it did not take. I guess blogger was being flakey.
Anywho.. I tring to post that we got some snow.. About six inches of snow it snowed for about 12 hours.. ya. it snowed
I feel worthless today. I have no energy. NONE. I just walked to the post office and now it feels like 100 degrees in here! Thats not helping my energy!!!
OK im done. Thats it. Nothing else to say. Really. Im done. OK? Got it?

Thursday the 19th...

Caitlin got done with school today at 12pm. This was not as bad as I had expected. See, Caitlin, no matter how cute, sweet and innocent as she may appear, drives me crazy. Everything she does is like nails on a chalkboard to me. I hate feeling like this about her, cuz at the end of the day, I see past these things and I really do love her and feel horrible.

WOW is it snowing... Id say we have at least 3 or 4 fluffy inches. Its been snowing none stop since about 8:30am. Not sure when it plans to be over...

All that noise

I am not normally tolerant of noise in my house. For Christmas, my aunt and uncle gave the kids a set of musical instruments (tambourine, cymbals, macaranas, a triangle, and some other noisy instruments). I didn’t see myself ever allowing them to play with these toys while I am in the house, or even alive. Well today, I was feeling weird. I actually got them out and let the girls play with them, I even joined in. I must admit, I had fun, and I now plan to have “music time” with my girls on a regular basis now.

End of the "weekend"

It is Wednesday already. I know for some people that are a good thing because it is “hump” day and closer to the weekend. For our family, it means our weekend is ending, and Tony’s work week is beginning. He has Sunday thru Tuesday off, unlike those 9 to 5ers that have Saturday and Sunday off. No matter what he thinks, I do enjoy spending time with him, even if it just means we are across the room from each other. I do love our couch time when we watch TV or movies together also.

I had a good time last night at my “open scrap (booking)” thingy. There were more people there last night then the other times that I have been there. I think I have met half of them. I can’t say that I got any scrapbooking done though. I did work on some journaling, but I did not get much of that done either.

Tuesday, January 17, 2006

Oh what a day...

Today, I cleaned up our handmade wooden high chair that both of our girls used. It is both sad and joyful. It is sad, because we no longer have a “baby”, we have a toddler. It is joyful because our last baby is growing up. We are going to store it at my aunt and uncles house until we get a house of our own so we can use it when our grandchildren come to visit (in the very far far far away future).
Tonight is "Open Scrap(book)" night. I cant wait. This only happens once a month! Next Monday is "Stamping Fun" night. :D wo0t!

Sunday, Sweet Sunday

Today is Sunday… Sunday is supposed to be date night, except all of my shows are on Sunday night, which is normally OK cuz I can tivo them while we watch a movie or something. Well tonight, 24 is on. FOR TWO HOURS. One of those hours goes over Desperate Housewives!!! WTF was fox thinking?? Grr… I guess there is another two hour premier tomorrow too. Ok Monday night I can handle. Not Sunday … They better play this Sundays DH over next week or I’m gonna hurt some one! It wouldn’t be that big of a deal if it only went over EHMO: home edition. And it’s not a matter of which one to watch, because I do enjoy both and have been waiting for a new season of 24. Grrr!

END RANT!

Im blogging this.

A friend asked me what I wanted for Christmas... This is what I said... A "I'm blogging this." shirt and a USB blinking snowman. I like my gifts. :D

Thanks Braz!

Friday

This cold/flu thing needs to leave my body. Its not even 9am and I am exhausted. All I have done so far this morning was get the girls dressed, folded some laundry then took Caitlin to school and Zoe to the bakery.

*yawn*

I have some housework that I should do today, but my gosh I am tired. Maybe I will attempt to do some stuff after Zoe and I take a nap.
Hmm repeat of yesterday...

Wednesday

I received a Christmas scrapbook kit from one of my Secret Santa Swaps. Yesterday I worked on my first ever themed album, Christmas 2005. I had a lot of fun putting it together and it went fast because it was an 8x8 and included all the paper and stickers you would need to complete it. This was the first “kit” I had ever worked with, and it was kind of fun not having to search for the “perfect” paper for the page.

Zoe is in the Birth to 3 program due to her lack of communication when she was nineteen months. Last week they came and did an evaluation to see how she’s progressing. She went from being very behind on some things, to being ahead on them, although other areas stayed the same. The coordinators came to share the results with us this afternoon. She now no longer has the need for the program. Ill be sad not to have them come work with her on a weekly basis, but I know how short on help that they are and I know the need is greater for other children in the program. Besides, Zoe is a completely different child then she was a few months ago!

We still all have the sniffles and I have a constant head ach so I am sure the girls do also. We will try to get lots of rest in the next few days to try to get better.

Saturday

Today I had to go buy Caitlin some medicine for her cold that she got sometime last night. Along my walk to the van, I came across nine dollars just laying on the ground. I stopped, picked it up and looked around to see if there was a possible owner. Nope.

I drive to WalMart, park, and walk across the parking lot. I feel like I am being watched... I was. This person driving a SUV ... Was it ME? or my pink coat?... I walk into WalMart, and I noticed that they were really busy. I hate when they are busy. My social anxeity goes through the roof when I have shop with many other humans.

I go to the isle where the meds are in; this old lady gets in my way. I am in her way too. Does she move out of my way after I move out of her way? NO! UGh.. I go get some other stuff, then head to the check out. I went thru this girl that is related to my aunt some how. I asked her how she was doing and how her baby was doing; her baby is 3 months old.

I walk out of the first doors and give my cart to the "greeter" who says "Thank you VERY much for dropping your cart off!" WTF? I have two bags of stuff, they are light... Am I the only one who does not take a cart into the parking lot if I do not have to? I guess I am just weird. When I get a parking spot that is first to the door, I always bring my cart back inside instead of further OUT into the parking lot to a cart carrell. That just seems silly.

When I left Walmart, I put the van back into the parking lot for two reasons 1) so tony wouldnt have to do it, and 2) there were no parking spots in front of our building. When I got out of the van, I see this bird... OK PAUSE. If there is a phobia of birds pooping and it landing on you, I totally have it... OK PLAY.. flying sort of over me, I cringe thinking it was a stupid "rat with wings" as my husband calls seagulls, I notice that it is a bald eagle. Neat. I love nature, and I really love when I see things like this. Anywhoo the eagle made my day

Fridays Goal...

Todays goal is to go grocery shopping and get the menus back in tow. I really like my menus because I dont have to play the "what do you want for dinner" game. I hate that game! Right now, I have almost all of the lunches and dinners for this month planned! :D

Also, I need to finish some more laundry and dishes!

Oh and I would like to get some scrapbooking done this evening!

Thursdays goal

Today, my first goal is to get our house back in working order. Laundry, dishes, floors, everything must be done, so today I will work my hardest to get these things done. (yes i know im sitting at my computer, but im taking a break) And if I get to the point where all I have to do tomorrow is the floors and some laundry, Ill be doing good.

I slept about ten hours last night, so I should be able to complete my first goal.

My second goal is to drink more water. I was doing well at drinking enough water, but that slipped away along with my diet & routines.

New Years Resolutions

Well I figure if write down (or well type) my New Years Resolutions, I will have them burned into my head for future reference.

This year I plan to stick to a schedule. Being bi polar, I have a really hard time if I do not keep my routines. My whole world turns upside down; my mental health, our house, my moods. Everything is affected by my routines.

This year I plan to visit our family more often. We live an hour away from two of my grandmothers, my cousin and her kids, and my father. It would be nice if I were to get there to visit more often as one of my grandmothers is 94 and the other is in her seventies. I have not taken the girls to see my Grandma Lill in two years. It was two years ago at Christmas. We did go visit her and my father the same day we went to see Santa.

Tony’s grandmothers live about 7 hours away, so it’s not like we can go for the day. Tony works weekends so we can not go then, and Caitlin has school Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I have to find out what she has off for Spring Break and maybe go on a Sunday thru Tuesday. Tony’s grandmothers are not exactly young either. One of his grandmothers has some heart issues and other medical problems. His other grandmother seems healthy, but we still need to visit her more often.

This year I plan to stay up to date with my scrapbook club and my other club that I take part in. We do card swaps, and play fun games in the scrapbook club. I miss being on top of things with my clubs. The ladies in these clubs are wonderful!

This year I plan to relax and enjoy life more. Maybe some day Ill go get my first manicure and pedicure, a massage would be nice too. I need to relax when it comes to yelling at my children. I am so on the edge, everything sets me off. I just need to chill out. I need to enjoy these times with my children and family.

Well those are my New Year’s resolutions. I hope I can stick with them because I would feel much better and actually accomplish things.

Queen of Crazyville

I feel like Queen this week. We received several gifts for Christmas this year and it feels like we are being pampered!

I received remote start for my van from my mother in law (too bad no one will put it in my van for me and it will be 300$ to have a shop to do it). I can’t wait to use this. I hate walking all the way to my van in the bitter cold weather to warm it up only to have to sit in the van while the windows defrost so I can drive it to our front door. (NOTE: I do not mind the SNOW, but I do mind the cold.)

From my aunt and uncle, we received 800tc sheets… mmMm nice. We house sat for them in April and I commented on how much I loved their sheets and that’s what they can get us for Christmas! The sheets on our bed were 400tc, and the 800tc are twice the thickness. They are awesome!

My mother gave us a gift card for Target to use towards new towels; they came via UPS this afternoon. They are so big and soft enough to be at the spa. I can’t wait to get them washed up and ready to use!

The four of us receved sweatshirts that bear the local schools sports name “the hurricanes”. I don’t know why they are that, but ok Ill go with the flow. Besides, everyone can use a new big fluffy sweatshirt once in a while!

End.

Santa and stuff...

Tony, Caitlin, Zoe and I went to go see Santa and the reigndeer! I still am not sure what Caitlin told him what she wanted for Christmas. He asked her what she wanted, and she said TOYS, he asked her what kind of toys, she said she didnt know! She then asked him "Where are you reindeer?" LOL She asked him a couple more times before they were through talking.

Propel

For those of you who have viewed my webcam the couple of times I have had it on, or have chatted with, you know how much I like Propel. So my blog today is about that. Ya, I am lame.
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Yes there are two rows of propel in there!

I have tried 5 out of 8 flavors: kiwi-strawberry, grape, melon (ick), lemon, & tropical citrus. I dont like grape flavored things usually, but I LOVE grape propel.

OK thats enough about propel. My day is very dull today. LOL

Morning Rant

I HATE mornings. Why? Because everyone (kids and cats) wants something from me RIGHT NOW. Does not matter how fast I move, I am too slow for their morning demands. The cats want food and water; the kids want milk, fruit, & oatmeal. If I am too slow, Caitlin tells me every two seconds that she wants milk or oatmeal. Then it’s a straw, a napkin, and whatever else her tiny brain can come up with. Zoe doesn’t say much other then "guck" which is how she says milk. The cats run under my feet constantly and if I don’t get them water fast enough, they drink out of the toilet, which wouldn’t be so bad, but I put Clorox tablets in, and cats probably should not drink bleach water!

Then if I have not scooped the cat box in a couple of days, Tico is sure to let me know by giving me a wet rug (where I stand in the morning to get water for the kid’s oatmeal). UGH.
I know how to remedy this situation. It sounds simple to a person who is able to get out of bed and go on about their day. I need to stick with my Night time routine, and get up before my children, which some mornings would be before 6am and 8am others, then do my morning routine.

Any who… Today I am going to help my uncle with his Christmas decorations. This will be fun, Ill be outside, and away from my children for a bit.

Ugh, why cant children pick up their toys?? Don’t they realize how much easier it would be to play in a neat and orderly room?? I try to help when I can but geez, I can’t do it for them all the time! Yeah, Caitlin is ONLY four, but if she doesn’t learn now, when will she. I already called Santa and left him a message not to bring her toys. This did not work and now she complains about me calling him. I told her when she cleans her room I would call him back and tell him she was good.

Christmas Shopping

Ok I think I am done with the shopping part of christmas gifts. Now onto the ones I am making. Weeeeeeee LOL Christmas is coming wayyy to fast. Someone asked Caitlin today if she was ready for Santa to come, she said "no". I will remember this in a year or two when she will be begging for Santa to come visit.

I havnt talked to hubby about this yet (but he reads my blog) but I would like to take the girls to see Santa and the Reigndeer next Sunday. Bad part is, we have soo much traveling between dentist appointments, and doctor appointments that I am not sure I want to sit in the car agan. BUT, this also would be the PERFECT time to go see my dad and grandmother (that we havnt seen since LAST Christmas..).

OK END...

Dont

Dont leave me alone with myself. Yes you read that right, do NOT leave me alone with MYSELF. My mind just goes on and on and on, kind of like Caitlin who never stops talking. I go over everything in my life or whatever is on my mind, not once, not twice, but at least ten times before I get annoyed with MYSELF. Just makes me wonder how other people put up with me, how they dont get annoyed to the point of leaving me or punching my lights out. I guess thats why my best friend is my husband, and my other friend lives 3 hours away. I could go on about how bad my mind wanders and obesses but I will not.

Anywho. I went to the tooth devil today. UGH I hate having my teeth cleaned by them. I have good gums but they are sensitive along with my teeth. PLEASE do not blow air on my teeth :( It HURTS. DO NOT put cold water or hot water on them, OUCH. And for the love of buddah, do NOT stick that sharp pointy thing into what we both know is a cavity!!! DAMN YOU! Then after all this torture, you tell me that I am on a waiting list to have my cavity filled. Wonderful. So in other words, I will have to make another appointment for a cleaning, then I can get an appointment for fillings. I will not say anything about my wonderful *sarcasm* trip to the dentist and scare my children before they even meet one.

Ok I have to go eat, tonight is "open scrapbook" night.

Murphy's Law

Mur·phy's Law (mûr'fēz) n. any of certain humorous axioms stating that anything that can possibly go wrong, will go wrong.

This morning, Caitlin had preschool which begins at 8am and ends at 3pm. Of course, today both girls slept in. Lately, Caitlin has been waking me up around 6:00am -6:30am. SUX. Today was the first day in a very long time that my alarm actually had to wake me up. Good to know that it still works.

It was so very warm out this morning with temps reaching -3F. Warm. It is currently 1f outside. I didn’t want to shut my van off. It didn’t even get to warm up when I took Caitlin to school, and it had been running for about thirty minutes. I’m almost positive had I stayed in there for a bit longer, the heat would have started coming out.

Last night sometime around 12:10am, my husband woke me up to ask me if we could afford
wo0t! Or not. Woot featured a 250gig hard drive for 50$. Too bad we don’t have an extra 50$ to spare. SUX. Last week yes, this week no.

Our cat needs to go to the vet, and that will cost about 20$. Not too bad, but hey if we had another 30$, we could have got wo0t!. My cat has this very disgusting issue with his anal glands needing to be cleaned out. Normally this naturally but not with our damn cat. Also, this is usually an issue with dogs, not cats. Weirdo.

On Tuesday, both hubby and I have separate plans. We need a babysitter if we both want to do our activities that we have planned. He plans on going RPG with a bunch of friends, and I have “open scrapbooking” night.

End of my Murphy's Law banter

Intresting

I guess I will have to start posting more intertaining blogs since so many people are stumbling across it. I am a very boring person, so this will be difficult.

I am thinking about putting up my christmas tree today or tomorrow. Should be intresting to see how many times I have to say "NO, DO NOT TOUCH THE TREE" to the kids and the cats. I bought a new spray bottle just for the cats.

OK gonna go pick up some so I can put up the tree!
