She always talks about what you can do in 15 minutes. I recently started reading my book when I am waiting to pick up Caitlin from school. I always get there early, and get easily bored. So, two weeks ago I started to read my book! Ive had this book for a couple of years now, so I ended up starting from the beginning. I am proud of myself for sticking to my reading!


Don't tell anybody, but I actually miss my 15 minutes of reading time on the weekends when I do not pick her up from school!

New Car

I got a new car last Friday! Its a 99 ford tarus. Ive always thought of them being an ugly car. I still think they are ugly. LOL But I love my car so far! The inside is so nice and clean, you can see all of the buttons cuz they are not worn off!

Wild West Day

Today is wild west day at school. This is what I threw together in a matter of one shopping trip, seven dollars, and an hour...

walmart

Ok so I shop at walmart. WHY?? ok cuz they sell shiat for cheep. But good gawd they are starting to really piss me off. Every time I decided that I *LIKE* something, they quit carrying it. This time, its my English muffins. I fell in love with the 12 grain muffins. They were my breakfast, little bit of butter, little bit of strawberry jelly... MmmM YUM!

Grrr @ walmart

Previous items they stopped carrying:

1) soft cat food. it came in a jug. it was soft. deja did not puke as much while on this food

2) anti frizz stuff. I don't even remember the name of it anymore, but I just know, it was the best stuff and actually worked in my hair...

3) the mopping pads for the mr clean magic wand

4) any thing & everything else I decided to like

Walmart

So... we have these self check outs at our Walmart. I tend to use these when I shop with hubby's debit card to skip the part where they ask who I am and why I am using Tony's card.

Today there was no waiting on the lane I went to. So I put my stuff on the thing, rang it up and bagged it. I went to pay, and used the debit card. It asks if you want cash back, no thank you. So I take my receipt, and notice that there is a stack of twenties in the "your cash is dispensed here" place. I look around... I grab it... put it in my pocket and left. What would you do? I mean... I feel really bad for the person who did not grab their cash, but I didn't see anyone even near that lane when I got there. During the time it took me to bag and load up my stuff, no one came to see if they had left it. What was I supposed to do? Take it to the customer service so they could MAYBE find out who it belonged to? What if I accidental DID hit the "cash back" option?

So really... what would you do?

Oh and I counted it when I got out to the car, $80.

Burr

It is still very cold outside! But it looks like its going to be warming up! I can not wait! I do not like getting all bundled up to take the dog for a walk, and having to CARRY him back because he is too cold to walk, and he acts as if it is painful on his tiny bare feet :(


Tomorrow is Friday. I am happy, its been a very long week for some reason.

Theres a "Kids" Carnival at the mall this Sunday from 1 - 4.. hmm..

New Job

Hubby started his new job yesterday! So far he likes it! Wonder how he liked his drive to work this morning with the freshly fallen snow! We have a couple of inches and it is still falling!

Good thing today is late start. My snow brush is in hubby's car!

MmMm menu says tonight is chili. Perfect for the weather since its still below zero outside!

Caitlin has music & PE today, so I wonder what song she will come home singing today! Last time it was "London Bridge" .. No not by Fergie.

Flylady says today we are in the kitchen! Good thing too, its a bit of a mess and could use a good decluttering. I have to find a home for my sewing machine when I am not using it. The craft room would be a great place for it I guess! Maybe since hubby will be home tonight, I will venture out there for the third time since we've moved in. Actually, its been more then three times, but less then ten.

She is a MONSTER.
